Visual identity

WHAT IS CORPORATE IDENTITY?

The visual identity of a company or brand is a powerful image and marketing tool. It is thanks to cleverly devised identification that consumers perceive some brands as trustworthy and others, for example, as dynamic, youthful or ecological.

Corporate identity is a set of graphic elements characteristic of a particular company, the purpose of which is to:

  • increase brand recognition,
  • creating a specific image of the company by means of colors and other visual elements,
  • increase the prestige of a particular brand,
  • and in some cases even increase sales.

It is often considered an indicator of a company’s professionalism, so it is worth ensuring that it is prepared reliably and stands out from the competition.

ELEMENTS OF CORPORATE VISUAL IDENTITY

The basic elements of a company’s corporate identity are a logo, a font (that is, a selected or specially designed typeface), and a color scheme. In some cases, the identity is expanded to include additional elements, such as letterheads, letterheads, car signage or product packaging design.

WHAT TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN CREATING OR SELECTING A CORPORATE IDENTITY?

First of all, the company’s identification should be consistent and universal. By universal we mean here the possibility of using individual elements on many levels. For example, the logo should appear not only in color, but also in black and white, which will allow it to be clearly emphasized on materials that cannot be printed in color. The color scheme itself, on the other hand, should reflect the values and characteristics of the company. Color psychology is often used for this purpose, according to which, for example, shades of blue are associated with responsibility, and orange with youth.

VISUAL IDENTITY DESIGN

The design of a company's corporate identity is best placed in the hands of a professional team of graphic designers and marketers. Only then do we gain confidence that the developed materials will be both aesthetically pleasing and effective, and in line with current trends. This is especially important for brands that decide to change their identity to emphasize changes in the structure or values of the company.

CORPORATE IDENTITY BOOK

A corporate identity book, also known as a sign book, is a document that is created after a new identity system is developed for a brand. It collects all the guidelines on the recommended use of colors, characters or fonts.

VISUAL IDENTIFICATION - PRICE

The price of corporate identity depends on a great many factors. The first is the scope of work – in case it is very wide, the price will naturally increase. Therefore, we will pay much less for a single service limited, for example, to the design of a logo.
